It was a hearty welcome for Indian Idol 6 winner Vipul Mehta when he reached his hometown Amritsar. His friends , family members and Amritsar residents were there in mass attendance at the airport and at his home. Vipul Mehta beat Devendra Singh and Amit Kumar to emerge as the winner of the singing competition and bag teh Indian Idol 6 title.
