Dr Kothari, Andrew Topsfield get Mewar Foundation award
Dr Gulab Kothari, Editor-in-Chief of the Rajasthan Patrika Group of Newspapers and Harinder Baweja of TV news channel Headlines Today were today conferred with Maharana Mewar Foundations prestigious Haldighati award for excellence in journalism. Renowned author Dr Andrew Topsfield was presented with prestigious Col James Tod Award for outstanding service in striving/projecting high Indian values and heritage. Bollywood actor Rahul Bose bagged Hakim Khan Suri award while Indian Institute of Remote Sensing Director Dr Parthasarthi Roy got Maharana Udaisingh award and Dr Prakash and Dr Mandakini Amte jointly bagged Panna Dhaya Award. Aruna Singhania Dalmia and Kriti Kumar Jain bagged Maranra Mewar State level award, Pt Ramesh Bhokraj Dwivedi and Dr Veernarain NK Pandurangi got Maharishi Harit award, Rajendra Shankar Bhatt (History) and Dr Nandkishore Acharya (Literature)-Maharana Kumbha award, Athlete Gopal Saini-Maharana Sajjansingh award, tribal activist Mashru Lal Kher-Rana Punja award, Pt Chiranji Lal Tanwar and KC Malu (jointly)-Dagar Gharana award, Deepa Mallick and Ashok Menaria jointly got Arawali award. Chomu Police station in Jaipur district was also given special award.
