Rani Mukherjee stars in this film as a nice Marathi girl whose family is eccentric. She lives in her own world and is a romantic at heart. But while she attends college and finds her heartthrob, she doesn't know that her family is fixing her up with a nice Maharthi boy who is studious and loves roses! Will she settle for nice or will she follow her heart? Aiyya seems to be interesting and will be Rani's film after a long gap. She had starred in Noone Killed Jessica which also starred Vidya Balan.
