Arjun Rampal could have opted out of a film because a newcomer was signed on as the lead of the film. With his ego being crushed he reportedly waited till the last minute to inform the producers that he would not be acting in the film stating of course the age old excuse of saying that he had no dates to perform his role in the film. The producers have been bad mouthing his lack of professionalism to anyone willing to lend them a ear. Arjun Rampal has played second fiddle to a lot of aA listers but was unwilling to do so for a rank newcomer.
