Patrizia Mirigliani, the beauty pageant organizer told, "With this type of costume, we will be returning to the classical beauty of the 1950s, the era of female legends who we still admire and respect even today. The costumes will really highlight feminine beauty and for next year competition, I am already thinking of environmentally friendly outfits so the girls will do their bit for the environment."There are other new rules that have been incorporated in the Miss Italy beauty pageant that aims at making it a fair contest. Contestants with plastic surgeries and implants are not allowed to be a part of the contest. While those with body piercing and tattoos are also not permitted.
