Tata Motors announces its financial result
Tata Motors Group global wholesales including Jaguar Land Rover, were 119,799 units in January 2012 which is higher by 21% over January 2011. The cumulative sales for the fiscal are 985,260 greater by 13% compared to the corresponding period in 2010-11.

Tata Motors grew by 12% in 2011
The Tata Motors Group global wholesale figures including Jaguar Land Rover, were 114,920units in December 2011 which higher by 27% on a Y-o-Y basis. The cumulative sales for the fiscal are 865,400units higher by 12% compared to the corresponding period in 2010-11. The global sales of all commercial vehicles – Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range - were 53,854units in December 2011, a growth of 12%. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 425,264 nos., a growth of 17%.

Nissan increases the prices of the Micra and the Sunny
Nissan Motor India Pvt. Limited announced today that prices of its best selling Diesel and Petrol versions of Micra and September-launched Sunny Petrol will be increased by 0.56 per cent to 2.09 per cent from January 20, 2012. Prices of all three variants of Petrol Micra will go up by Rs.3, 000 while prices of both variants of Diesel Micra will go up by Rs. 12, 000.
